Welcome / Welcome Back!!!
If you are new to Suffolk, welcome! College is an important step in your life, and I'm glad you're here. If you returning, it's good to see you again, and I look forward to helping you continue your educational journey.
This is one of the wikis we will use. You will notice that this one is blue, which means you cannot log into this one. I wouldn't want you to accidentally erase all the good information I have here. Don't worry, you will have a chance to share your work on a wiki (of a different color) soon.

Practice / Extra Help:
Speaking and Listening
There are many ways to get help with your English. Use the resources here to help you. You can do this at home or even work on it in the lab. Take advantage of the resources around you! Ask teachers or tutors for help. Form a study group. Make American friends. (There's nothing wrong with having friends that speak your language, but if you only spend time with them - speaking your native language, how are you going to get better at English?) Start watching American television shows or the news. Your English is not going to improve by itself. It will take time and plenty of practice.
